Who I Am
I am a mom of three girls, two of whom are enrolled in the Oregon City School District and have disabilities (or superpowers as we call them in our house).
I am a wife to an amazing man who is a nurse at Providence Willamette Falls here in Oregon City and a medic in the Oregon National Guard.
I am a combat veteran who served in Afghanistan and earned a Purple Heart and Bronze Star on that deployment.
I am passionate and care deeply, not just for my family, but for my community.
I believe that all children should feel safe and welcome in their schools and community and deserve a high-quality education. Showing up for our students is more important now than it has ever been, and that is why I am answering the call.
If elected, I will support our students, staff members, and families develop and maintain policies to ensure our kids succeed. Fiscal responsibility is important, and I will support responsible budgeting and ensure open and transparent communication with our constituents.
I want to serve our community, show up for our students, and cultivate a culture where students can thrive.

Goals
1) Safe and welcoming schools- every student and staff member has a right to feel safe and welcomed in their schools. When students and staff have welcoming spaces, they thrive, which helps our community thrive.
2) Community engagement- when forming policy, I believe it is important to hear from the people that the policies will affect, which is why I am committed to engaging students, staff, and parents, when forming policy.
3) Career & college readiness- every student deserves an opportunity to a quality education that will help them explore their passions, sharpen their readiness for after graduation, and guide them towards a career that they will love and thrive in.
4) Honest and transparent communication- I believe in authenticity and integrity. I will be open and honest about decisions and policies being made for our district and encourage our community members to do the same.
